Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Notice of Right to Opt-Out of Sales or Sharing of Personal Information for California Residents
1. Your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), California residents have the right to opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of the personal information that we collect about them. We do not sell personal information about California residents in the sense of exchanging personal information for money. However, we may disclose certain personal information about California residents to advertising networks and their partners to provide the California residents with more interesting and customized information, promotions, and advertising, which is considered “selling” and “sharing” under the CCPA. This information includes California residents’ device IDs, IP addresses, online identifiers, information about their behavior on our website and interactions with ads displayed through the website, advertisement IDs, information about their device’s operating system and settings, and inferred interests. Your options for exercising your right to opt-out of such sales and sharing are detailed below. If you opt out of “sharing”, we may continue to disclose your personal information to third parties for purposes outside of cross-context behavioral advertising. In addition, if you opt out of “selling” and “sharing”, you may still be presented with contextual and other advertisements that are not based on cross-context behavioral analysis.
2. Submitting opt-out requests
You may exercise your right to opt out of “sales” or “sharing” of your personal information by sending such request by email at Privacy-Contact@sony-honda-mobility.com.
Please note that we may need to verify your identity or obtain additional information from you before acting on a request.
3. Submitting opt-out requests via an authorized agent
You have the option of designating an authorized agent to exercise your rights on your behalf. For authorized agents submitting requests on behalf of California residents, please contact us as described above, with any evidence you have that you have been authorized by a California consumer to submit a request on their behalf. We may deny requests from an agent if the agent does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
