We sought a sound quality in AFEELA that would “captivate” people, redefining the conventional norm of mobility. Optimal layout of high-quality speakers creates an outstanding soundstage in-cabin. Building on this, we have integrated Sony's spatial audio technology (360 Spatial Sound Technologies) that is inherited from products such as headphones and home audio, alongside spatial audio content such as Dolby Atmos®. Additionally, we've incorporated noise-canceling technology developed over years by Sony and Honda in their respective industries. Whether you're immersing yourself in your favorite music or diving deep into the world of movies, AFEELA allows you to enjoy a variety of rich sound experiences.

The speakers* optimally placed in the AFEELA's cabin and seats create an overwhelming sense of presence that surpasses the imagination. It also supports a spatial audio experience using 360 Spatial Sound Technologies. Experience an immersive three-dimensional sound field where each sound source, such as vocals, chorus, and instruments, is arranged in a spherical space, making users feel as if surrounded by a live performance by the artist.
Furthermore, it supports Dolby Atmos®, which goes beyond traditional surround sound. It expresses sound in all directions—up, down, left, right, and depth—recreating a realistic acoustic space that makes you feel as if you are right there.

The high-performance speakers in the cabin and seats utilize lightweight, high-rigidity diaphragms, along with neodymium magnets that generate strong magnetic force. Additionally, Sony's proprietary high-quality sound technology, “Clear Phase™,” which is also used in TVs and audio equipment, further enhances the speakers' inherent acoustic characteristics. Coupled with Class-D amplifiers that directly drive the speakers, this delivers powerful sound with high resolution, capable of expressing the delicate nuances of high-resolution audio sources. As for spatial audio playback technology, it not only supports Dolby Atmos®, but also creates a natural sound field that exceeds the vehicle's size from any audio source, including 2-channel sources. Virtually placing speakers outside the cabin allows for an expansive spatial audio experience. Furthermore, the seat-back speaker system allows passengers in the front and rear seats to enjoy different videos or music without disturbing each other.
