AFEELA x Karate Kid: Legends – A Legendary Day at Century City
On May 24th, the spirit of martial arts and next-gen mobility converged in an unforgettable celebration at the AFEELA Studio at Westfield Century City. As excitement builds for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s upcoming film Karate Kid: Legends, exclusively in theaters May 30th, Sony Honda Mobility welcomed fans, families, reservations holders and influencers to a one-day-only immersive event.
Set against the sleek backdrop of the AFEELA Studio, the Atrium was transformed into a dynamic dojo of pop culture and cutting-edge innovation. Guests stepped into a space where cinematic nostalgia met tomorrow’s technology.
More Than a Movie Tease – An AFEELA Experience
Guests indulged in expertly brewed coffee and delicious treats, while checking out interactive gaming stations. Giveaways and custom T-shirt screen printing brought a personal touch to the day, letting guests take home a piece of the experience.
At the center of it all was AFEELA 1, a symbol of the future of mobility. Visitors had the chance to get up close with vehicle demonstrations, experience its innovative design, and glimpse Sony Honda Mobility’s vision for the road ahead.
As part of the event, attendees also got a glimpse of the future of in-car entertainment with RIDEVU, AFEELA’s best-in-class digital video experience. Fully integrated into AFEELA 1, RIDEVU offers access to hundreds of hours of premium content from Sony Pictures Entertainment’s catalogue, giving drivers and passengers the ability to buy, rent, or stream an expansive and diverse library of feature films right from the cabin, including The Karate Kid (1984), The Karate Kid Part II (1986), The Karate Kid Part III (1989), The Next Karate Kid (1994) and The Karate Kid (2010). AFEELA and RIDEVU are redefining how we experience movies on the move.

The AFEELA Studio at Westfield Century City continues to welcome guests to explore AFEELA 1’s cutting-edge features and advanced technologies. Visitors can walk in for a demonstration or book an appointment in advance. Reservations for AFEELA 1 can be placed through the official AFEELA website with a fully refundable reservation fee of $200.

Karate Kid: Legends unites the iconic martial arts masters of one of the most beloved film franchises of all time to tell a completely new story full of action and heart. When kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) relocates to New York City with his mother to attend a prestigious new school, he finds solace in a new friendship with a classmate and her father.
